Surely someones having a laugh aren't they £37 for a strap Shocked I have carried my cameras sidesaddle (as I like to call it) like this, with its normal strap extended, on and off for more years than I care to remember but never, ever have I allowed it to swing loose as shown in the video - who in there right mind would I ask. Also, if you want to carry a big lens by its tripod mount, a 1/4" eyebolt can be purchased online for about a fiver and a suitable clip to attach it to your camera strap for around the same!

I like the idea Keith, I would never let my camera hang loose, I always hold it after seeing a friend break his Lens hood on a fence post, he was lucky, it taught him a lesson and me.
I have just bought one for £22 + the postage, still a bit expensive but I have always found the normal strap gets in my way. I will let you know how I get on with it.

It came today, and I like the idea of it, Its all off 6ft long so I suppose the £22 wasn't so bad.

Interesting to see what people use for carrying their camera; I've got a Hyundai - around £15000 Laughing Laughing

I find a strap is a bit of a nuisance usually, though. If I'm out for a decent landscape session than I just have the camera attached to the tripod (hopefully!) and just sling it over my shoulder. Otherwise I use an Optech USA one (http://optechusa.com/product/detail/?PRODUCT_ID=23&PRODUCT_SUB_ID=&CATEGORY_ID=4) which can be just clipped togther to form a wrist loop and with the extension piece to form a normal over the shoulder jobbie.

Works for me.

Right report back as promised, the Pap strap is great, but I recommend you put a safety cord from your camera and the Pap strap in case it comes unscrewed.
